扬州工业职业技术学院创办历史悠久，是江苏省中国特色高水平高职学校，具有示范性和先进单位称号。学校积极响应国家教育对外开放战略，国际合作布局合理，平台显示度高，服务成效显著。学校是“世界职业院校和技术大学联盟”会员，有8个省级国际合作特色项目。连续3年获全国高职院校“国际影响力50强”认可。学校与印尼海螺、中国石化等企业合作，推进“一带一路”产教合作，在建“鲁班工坊”和中阿(联酋)产能合作示范园“郑和学院”项目。学校致力于来华留学生教育，自2015年以来，共有21个专业为来自30余个“一带一路”沿线国家1000余名留学生开设“中文+职业技能”课程，其中东盟学生占70%，设有海外联合培养基地。学校是首批来华留学生教育质量论证院校，参与“中国-东盟双百职校强强合作旗舰计划”，是江苏省“一带一路”人才培养高职院校合作联盟建设单位，四次获评“江苏省来华留学生教育先进集体”。

Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute has a rich history and holds the titles of a high-level vocational school with distinctive Chinese characteristics, a demonstrative institution, and an advanced unit in Jiangsu Province. The institute actively responds to the national strategy of education opening-up, with a well-structured international cooperation layout, high platform visibility, and remarkable service effectiveness. It is a member of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics and has 8 provincial-level projects for international cooperation.

For three consecutive years, the institute has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Higher Vocational Colleges with International Influence nationwide. Collaborating with companies like Indonesia Conch and Sinopec, the institute advances the Belt and Road Initiative industry-education cooperation, including ongoing projects like the Luban Workshop and the Sino-Arab (UAE) Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Park Zhenghe Institute.

The institute is committed to educating international students in China. Since 2015, it has offered the Chinese Language + Vocational Skills curriculum to over 1,000 students from more than 30 countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, with ASEAN students comprising 70%. The institute has established overseas joint training bases, including the Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute Conch Indonesia Regional Silk Road Talents program. It is among the first batch of institutions to undergo quality verification for educating international students in China. It participates in the flagship program China-ASEAN Top 100 Vocational Schools Strong Cooperation and is a construction unit of the Jiangsu Province  Belt and Road Initiative Talent Development Alliance for Higher Vocational Institutes. The institute has been recognized four times as an  Advanced Unit in Jiangsu Province for Educating International Students in China.
